News & Announcements

Wow!

A huge thank you to the 32 letter carriers of the Lilburn Post Office and the residents of Lilburn for participating in the Stamp Out Hunger 2012 campaign. Together you collected, donated and delivered more than 5,800 pounds of much needed food. Such a blessing!

Birthday Boxes Needed: Perfect for small groups, and a great way to bring a smile to a child!

As parents come in to Lilburn Co-op for assistance, we sometimes discover that one of their children is having a birthday, and we like to give them a “Birthday Box.” These are shoe boxes covered with birthday paper containing one nice gift and some other small items. Today, we have a very low supply.

If you or your small group can help, please collect gifts and other items, make up the boxes and attach a note indicating if it’s for a boy or a girl and what age the gift is appropriate for — we like to supply them to children of all ages. Then deliver them to the Co-op. This will help us tremendously and will provide a little joy in the life of some child in our community.

Papa John’s Volunteer Opening

We will soon be able to pick up food from several local Papa John’s pizza restaurants. Volunteers are needed who can make one pick up a week, probably late mornings. The pick ups start in early June; we would like to have several volunteers ready so the opportunity will be handled efficiently.

Please contact us to volunteer or learn more about the Papa John’s opportunity.

Thank You Providence Christian Academy

We are tremendously grateful to Providence Christian Academy. Their recent food drive (photos) supplied more than 8,000 food items to the ministry!
